Hosea 13:7-9

⁷That is why I will be like a lion to them,
    like a leopard ·waiting [lurking] by the ·road [path].
⁸I will ·attack [meet them] like a bear robbed of her cubs,
    ripping their ·bodies [chest] open.
I will devour them like a lion
    and tear them apart like a wild animal.

⁹“Israel, I will destroy you.
